The EXCITMENT!

Hey!

I am excited.  I am excited to finally have a family vacation again.  I don't remember the last time the family...including dad...got to get out, go somewhere and do something new!  I haven't seen my grandparents on my dad's side since I was about 15 years old!  I can not wait to see them again!

We are taking a train earl-ay in dee mornin' (in your best pirate impression to the tune of yo-ho yo-ho a pirate's life for me) to Charlotte, NC.  We will spend the day there..."Charlotte's got a lot" so they say and we'll catch a plane to Vegas early tomorrow evening.  We will then drive to Utah from Vegas...we land around 10:30pm.  We'll drive through the night to a national park depending on when they open and we'll meet my grandparents that afternoon/evening in a KOA kampground in Brigham City, UT (about an hour North of Salt Lake City).  We'll spend 3 nights in UT with my G's and see everything we can...Salt Lake City, more Nat'l parks and most importantly: each other!

After Utah, we'll drive (the 12ish hours) to Napa, CA.  My sister is now working in the Bouchon Bakery in Yountville.  We'll see her, go to the Jelly Belly jelly bean factory (I was the jellybean person once in a school play...a spoof on the X-Files where I was a version of the cigarette man), eat at the Bouchon, go to St. Helena, be surprised on my sister's secret day and of course, visit San Francisco!  I am very excited!

On our way out from CA, we'll visit Yosemite National Park on our way back to the Vegas area, where we'll spend a couple more days visiting the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam.

I just might be already dreading the journey home...and work...ick.  I can't do that yet!  :D  Instead, I'll sit in my chair and vibrate with my excitement for a few hours more until lunch and then until the end of my all-too-long work day.

Well, I will continue updating with pics (if I can figure out how ;p) and verbiage!  Ooh, I also start 2 online classes right smack-dab in the middle of my trip!  Send me some positive vibes and you-can-do-it's during my trip too please!

Love & Luck!

Bisbiglio

Hi!

I'm back to offer lots of love, smiles, joy and hugs!  I have been thinking a lot about my future, where I want to end up and where I may be meant to end up.  I feel a pull and I'm trying to sort out whether it is a personal one or one from a higher calling.  I love God and I am in the middle of several journeys with Him.  I am constantly asking Him for strength, guidance and direction.  I feel like I'm in the middle of a calm ocean at night and God's light shines down on me like the brightest of full moons and I know where I'm headed but don't exactly know where I am.  All I do know is that I'm in the middle of a vast state of uncertainty and when I am lead out of it and into God's life for me, I'll be on the road to become the me that He wants me to be.  Another journey.

Daunting is a word that comes to mind.  I am in the middle of a weight loss journey.  I am ready, I am doing it for myself but most certainly not by myself!  I have a wonderful, helping net below me weaved of the love, strength and vibes of goodness that come from my wonderful friends and family...and of course, God!  I am never alone.  This is another thing that makes me think, be daunted, and come straight back to God in my times of unsureness.  When I'm unsure, when I'm unhappy with how my life is, where I am in my life, I always try to remember that it is through God that I find strength and it is only through Him that I am here in the first place, so why would I ever be unhappy??!!

I am going to see some of his watercolor masterpieces set to the earth in about 3 days.  I get to spend some time with my grandparents from Idaho, meet them in Utah and experience the wonders of the earth.  I will most definitely be posting a lot of amazing landscapes here for you to enjoy.  :)

I am very excited to finally make it over to the West.  I've been to see so much here on the East coast but nothing past New Mexico...I haven't even seen Tennessee or Kansas!  I will though!  I want to see all of the wonders of the earth, past, present, man-made, natural...you name it!  I am also blessed with an amazing job, a workplace of co-workers who have become nothing short of dear, dear friends and family.  I was given the biggest opportunity in this past October, 2010 to go to India with them...A-Mazing!  I'll post some pics and my reflections some-day ;p  This November, 2011, I am blessed again to go with them to Prague!  I hope I can be even more help on that trip!!!

This past week, I got to go and see my sister in her natural habitat...her home of choice, her place of complete peace and serenity.  Hehe, my sister loves Texas, and she is hardly ever serene, but she is at least home there, something very important to her.  Her roots, love and caring for the people closest to her is amazing to me.  She is the kind of friend you want.  There.  Always there for you, even when you, yourself, might not be.  I love her...and her home-sweet-home.

OH.  Bisbiglio:  I have been fascinated with the Italian language since I was a sophomore in high school.  I know enough to find a restroom, hotel, order a salad and ask how much a thing costs, but not too much more.  I found a new word today.  Bisbiglio  /bizˈbiʎʎo/ an onomatopoeia, a noun for the word whisper.  There are so many people on this earth, and like Horton's little ball of Who-village, there needs to be so many, working together to really be heard, then, look out!

So, for now, here's my whisper.  I will develop skills here to use when I want to have my voice heard, to find followers, team leaders and friends to join with me and fight the fights worth fighting.  More about that later!  But for now...

I have to continue with my weight-loss journey shortly, my mom and I have a weigh-in!  Wish us luck!

Love, luck & prayers.
